Vol. 01 · 2026 Edition

A reference for research—organized, observed, openly indexed.

Each entry summarizes parameters reported in scientific literature for individual peptide compounds. This journal is observational, not prescriptive.

New here? Three steps.

Know what you're reading

Peptides are short chains of amino acids studied in scientific literature. Every entry in this journal is observational—it summarizes what published research reports, nothing more.

Learn how reconstitution works

Most compounds arrive as a freeze-dried powder. The short guide just below covers how it's prepared.

Browse the index

Search or filter the list, then open any compound for its full reference sheet.

What the fields on a reference sheet mean →
Bottle Dose
Total compound supplied in one vial. Some compounds come in several sizes—use "Select Bottle Size" on a sheet to switch.
Diluent
The liquid volume literature reports for dissolving the powder—see Reconstitution below.
Units
Markings on a standard U-100 syringe: 100 units = 1 mL. Listed alongside mg/mcg for cross-reference.
Reported Range
Amounts documented in published study protocols—observational summaries, not recommendations.
Route
The administration path reported in research—e.g. subcutaneous (SubQ) or intramuscular (IM).
Cycle Pattern
On/off durations documented in research—e.g. "12 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF."

How reconstitution works.

Reconstitution means dissolving the freeze-dried peptide powder into a sterile liquid—typically bacteriostatic water. Literature describes it in five steps:

Prepare the workspace

Wipe the vial stopper and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol swab. Allow them to fully air-dry before proceeding.

Draw the diluent

Using a sterile syringe, draw the specified volume of bacteriostatic water as listed on the compound's reference card.

Add slowly to the peptide vial

Insert the needle and let the diluent run down the inside wall of the vial. Avoid spraying directly onto the peptide powder—this can damage the molecule.

Gently swirl, never shake

Rotate the vial slowly in your hand until the powder fully dissolves. Shaking introduces foam and can degrade the peptide.

Refrigerate

Reconstituted peptides should be stored between 2–8°C and used within the timeframe specified by the supplier.

What this journal is.

The Protocol Journal is a curated reference of peptide research parameters, compiled from publicly available scientific and research literature. It exists to make that literature easier to navigate—organized, indexed, and written in plain language for people new to the space.

The journal is observational, not prescriptive. Nothing here is medical advice, a recommendation, or an instruction; entries summarize what published studies and protocols have reported. Content is reviewed and updated as new literature appears, and subscribers receive each new issue by email.
